Attorney Services & Litigation

Legal Aid Ministries provides representation for those who are income-qualified who live in Dallas on an availability basis. Most of this representation is provided by high quality volunteer attorneys engaged in private practice who work with Legal Aid Ministries to help make equal access to justice a reality for all.

The volunteer attorneys and other professionals of Legal Aid Ministries have a primary interest in the least disruptive resolution of legal issues.  They encourage individuals to count the cost of litigation and understand the process.  Many people become frustrated with the court system because it does not seem like anyone listens to them or cares.  As a nation of laws our system is not established to listen to matters that cannot be admitted as evidence and is not equipped to deal with significant underlying emotional issues.  Legal Aid Ministries seeks to be a place of competent, caring concern.  Our professionals will listen and try to establish a plan to help an individual achieve some measure of justice.
