Legal Aid Ministries has a comprehensive strategic plan to continue to meet the needs of vulnerable low-income individuals.  The plan includes expanded access, workshops, volunteer involvement, services, staff and facilities.

Expanded Workshops

Workshops designed to avoid problems and fill the gap in services between advice-only appointments and representation will begin in 2009 in both Spanish and English and locations and times of workshops will be expanded each year.

Expanded Volunteer Involvement

With increased staff, innovative service and educational opportunities and imaginative technology initiatives, we will continue to significantly expand our attorney, tax professional and non-professional volunteer support so that we can increase our ability to serve more people in need.

Expanded Services

Legal Aid Ministries will not deviate from its mission to offer legal and conflict resolution assistance.  However, we will continue to seek expansion opportunities.

Expanded Staff

We need to expand our staff to accommodate future growth to include part-time and full-time staff.

Expanded Facility

We need to find a larger facility of at least 3,000 square feet in the Dallas area to accommodate future growth.
